The legendary Mirage F1 which intercepted Turkish incursions over the Aegean for 28 years, is now part of the Hellenic Air Force's Hall Of Fame.
The painting by Kostas Kavvathias portrays a pair Mirage F1 armed with 2 all aspect AIM-9P4 Sidewinders on their wingtips, in a combat patrol somewhere in Greek skies. Very nice details are the badges of 342 Sqn "Molon Lave" and the 334 Sqn, which operated the Mirage F1. A painting that pays tribute to the legendary fighter and especially those that met their destiny in it, like the hero, Flying Officer Nikolaos Sialmas.
Edition of 1000 prints (Offset printing on heavy, mat paper of top quality (260gr., neutral pH)
