One of the few good things about the Primo de Rivera dictatorship (1923-30) was its promotion of the development of local industries. Taking advantage of this bonanza of political support and having financial resources, but especially great ingenuity, inventiveness and desire to innovate, Jorge Loring set out to set up an aircraft factory in Carabanchel (Madrid) together with the prolific engineer Eduardo Barrón.

Both talents came together to give rise to a prolific family of aeronautical projects, some of which made big headlines at the time.
